The Beatles ‘White album’, no. 0135386
UK first pressing, matrices ending in 1. Parlophone Mono 7067-8
Complete – both records in orignal black inners, poster, four photocards and the paper divider which is often missing from copies that come up for sale.
With this being a first pressing the sleeve is the top loader with the number still as clear as the day it was printed. There is no laminate creasing, just some distress on the spine where parts of the laminate has come away, which is common. The sleeve could do with a wipe clean and shows up some ring wear towards the top of the sleeve as a result (see photo) but I’ll leave that to the successful bidder to do if they wish. There is a small scuff towards the bottom of the sleeve which I guess has been caused in storage but doesn’t really detract from what overall is a solid sleeve (the inside of the gatefold is nice and clean) which merits a VG+.
Both vinyls show signs of having been played with scuff marks from those unforgiving paper inners and the odd surface scratch but nothing of any depth. Having played all four sides on a Project Debut turntable I can confirm there is nothing which effects the playing. Yes, there is background noise in the quieter places but nothing intrusive. A solid VG+ for all four sides.
The four photocards of John, Paul, George and Ringo are as good as mint.
The original paper divider has a couple of creases but as I’ve previously said you’re lucky to find these nowadays!
The poster is complete with no tears or pin holes, the only down side being a small, seven line poem that the previous owner has neatly written in the blank space beneath the lyrics to ‘Good Night’. To my mind not really a problem.

Just to confirm, as you can see from the picture, this is on the Apple label - PMC 7067. Ignore the 'Parlophone' description, it had been a long day!
