The Beatles - The White Album
I am having to rationalise my vinyl collection due to space issues, so up to 300 albums must go. Mainly rock, but with a good smattering of Folk, Jazz and some Musicals and Classical - including some desirable rarities. Description:
An honest copy of the rarer 1st Press, Top-Loading Mono version.
Cover: A little cream coloured with age and a few light scuffs and grubby areas consistent with age. There are some light creases, but nothing terribly untoward. There are corner bumps but no areas of laminate lift. The opening edges are reasonably sharp, the spine is good and straight and the number (0115057) is nice and clear. The flip-backs are all nice and tight. Overall VG.
Inner sleeve: The original black inners are unfortunately not present. There are a pair of plain white inners - VG-.
Inserts: Unfortunately neither the pictures or the poster are present.
Labels: All 4 labels are nice and clean with no writing or other marks - Ex.
Vinyl: Visually all 4 sides display a nice shine with mainly light surface marks. There are a few heavier marks, though none are feelable, and these don't seem to have any significant effect. All 4 sides have '-1' matrices.
Side 1 - A little background throughout, sometimes a little intrusive, but no skips or jumps - VG-.
Side 2 - Some light background and a few clicks on Blackbird, Don't Pass Me By and I Will - VG-.
Side 3 - A little light crackle on the run-ins, otherwise only a little light background - VG+.
Side 4 - Again some light background and 3 light clicks during Honey Pie - VG.

Records are play-tested on a highly revealing Linn LP12 (Sondek) with Ittok arm and Ortofon Tango cartridge. I listen on headphones to try and ensure every detail is captured.
Please note, I will always try to grade my records as accurately as possible in line with the Record Collector scale. I am a collector as well as a seller and I know how disappointing it can be to receive an item that does not come up to your expectations. If in doubt I will be conservative, and I will always point out any flaws.

I am happy to mail items to North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the European Union. However, I will only mail using the 'International Signed For' service. This does make it a little more expensive, but does ensure that your item arrives safely and saves any disputes, which I can do without! Please do not bid for an item if you are not prepared to pay for this service.
£8.50 p&p for EU and £11.50 for North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand - I will reimburse any significant difference in actual cost, if you pay via PayPal.
Be assured, I never seek to make money from post and packing.
**RETURNS POLICY**
I will be happy to fully refund you (minus postage) in circumstances where you feel the item does not match up to my description. The item must be returned to me in the same condition as it left me.
