Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of The Beatles 1968 release ' White Album'.
The record is the rare first UK Stereo pressing on the Apple labels with the 'sold in uk….' labels. Cat no PCS 7067. The matrix 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-1 / 712-1.
Grading :
The fully laminated top loader gatefold cover is in VG+ condition with a off white appearance and just minor related wear. The spine text is legible although faint and the embossed 'The Beatles' is clearly visible on the front along with the bold limited edition number of 0461289. As was the case with this first issue top loader covers the inside gatefold has flipbacks at either end.
Also included is the giant lyric poster and 4 photographs which are all in good condition, there is also a very rare white 'spacer' card which was used to separate the photo's.
The records are in EX condition. Under light there is signs of play with the odd whispy hairlines either side. The sound is excellent with no serious issues and it plays brightly from start to finish.
If your bidding from outside the UK I will only post via Track and signed methods with a price ranging from £11 - £25 depending on country and value of item. In the first instance I'll charge £25 and will refund any difference once I know the cost.
