The Beatles  "White Album"

This is a Taiwan Import on First FL-1633 and FL-1634.   The album is originally from 1968.   It is pressed on black vinyl and it's in stereo.    This is a double album in a gatefold cover with the lyrics printed inside the gatefold.    The front and back cover shows the 4 photos from the White Album with the songs titles on the right.

The songs are : Back In The USSR, Dear Prudence, Glass Onion, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, Wild Honey Pie, The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Martha My Dear, I'm So Tired, Black Bird, Piggies, Rocky Raccoon, Don't Pass Me By, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, I Will, Julia, Birthday, Yer Blues, Mother Nature's Son, Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkee, Sexy Sadie, Helter Skelter, Long Long Long, Revolution 1, Honey Pie, Savoy Truffle, Cry Baby Cry, Revolution 9, and Good Night.

What are Taiwan Imports and why should you buy one??    Taiwan imports are copies of US albums that were pressed without obeying copyright laws.     They were pressed by small companies in Taiwan ( or Formosa ), in extremely limited numbers ( between 100 and 500 ).    It was illegal to export them out of the country, so the only way they got out was from US servicemen who bought them there and then brought them back when they returned from overseas duty.    Then they had to be sold to a used record store and then resold to a collector.     There are many cover and label variations to watch for.    Sometimes they are pressed on colored vinyl.     Most of the time the front covers are poor quality copies.     Many back covers are different or will have the lyrics printed, some with errors and typos.     Sometimes there are album slicks from other albums inside the covers.     The US record company logo is gone and a Chinese record company and record number are in it's place.   All of their labels are unique with lots of Chinese character writing.    The covers are made of paper which is sealed in very thin plastic, inside and outside.    They are pressed on poor quality vinyl which plays with some static.    They never note the country name on the cover or on the labels.

Overall Condition : Cover : VG+ /  Record : M- and M-

The gatefold cover is VG+.    There are no seam splits and there is no writing.    There is light ring wear on the plastic cover with some stretch marks in the plastic.      The bottom corners have minor bends.     The vinyls look VG+ and they plays VG+, with light static between the songs.    The labels are clean with no spindle marks.    

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard.   It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.    It will weigh 23 ounces ( 1 pound, 7 ounce ) when ready to ship.   You can figure out your own shipping costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    It will be sent by First Class Mail International to overseas buyers.   ( Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to their country )     I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM).    I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
