CONDITION
All labels: EXCELLENT +
All are clean & bright with just some light light spindle trails around each centre hole (mostly label 2).
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT 2. EXCELLENT +
All playing surfaces are clean & glossy which apart from a small, light mark on the side 1 run-in bear very little visible wear in strong daylight. Closer inspection beneath halogen reveals just some very light marks form the inner-sleeves & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: EXCELLENTVery hard to find a nice sounding early mono pressing of this album, but this is a nice sounding copy free from any major faults. All tracks play cleanly and crackle-free. The only audio distractions we detected during our careful play-check detected was a little peak wear on 'Blackbird' and a some light repeating ticks at the end of 'Yer Blues' going into 'Mother Nature's Son'. Otherwise this is a great listening copy which would be hard to upgrade.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & strong example with some mild age-toning but no major defects. The front panel has a 'half-moon' wrinkle towards the top-opening edge but the low number is clean & bold and there are no other significant signs of wear. There is light shelfwear to the corner tips and a little to the opening edges but both panels inside are clean & unblemished. There is some wear to the rear edge of the spine and although the spine laminate has cracked, both sets of wording are readable.
