All are immaculate with just a single spindle trails around the centre holes on labels 3 & 4 but none on 1 & 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT

All playing surfaces are clean and retain excellent deep-gloss shines. The only noticeable visual blemishes on disc 1 are a 4cm non-feelable surface line on side 1 along with one or two other light scuffs, but nothing I would call a scratch. Discs 2 has some light radial marks from turntable contact but again, no scratches or any feelable marks. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine.

Sound Quality: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +

This fine sounding set has received minimal careful play on good equipment and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. All sides are free from any groove/playwear distortion or crackle which blights so many copies of this pressing. My disc 1 playcheck detected 2 ticks on 'Glass Onion', one at the end of 'Blackbird' and a few soft ones at the start of 'I Will'. Disc 2 played cleaner with just a few ticks on the fade-out of 'Yer Blues'. Nice sounding mono copies of this LP are hard to find and this copy will disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A strong, fully intact example with light to moderate age/storage wear but no major faults throughout.

The front panel is clean & glossy with mild age-toning & a slight disc impression from storage, but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant signs of wear. The laminate is intact around the raised wording and the number is clean & bold. The is a touch of wear to the upper openings but no tears or feathering to any.

Both panels on the inside of the gatefold are pristine. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front but has two 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the upper edge and a few small storage marks.

The spine is slightly squashed but the laminate is fully intact and all seams of both pockets are smooth & unstressed.

Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat & uncreased with just a single 1cm tear to one of the upper edges but no damage to the central windows or any seam splits.
