Up for sale here we have an original UK mono copy of The Beatles White Album, In a solid VG condition and complete with all inserts and original die cut black inner sleeves, the condition of the discs is a solid VG condition visually and for playback, all sides have played well on my turntable with the occasional slight pops and clicks as you’d expect with an LP of over 50 years of age, there only light marks and sleeve removal marks present on the discs but nothing deep and offensive, the only real standout issue is on side 4 of disc 2 you can see what appears to be some sort of staining or smudging, when put on the turntable after a thorough cleaning it only made a slight hissing sound when treading through the grooves, still played through without jumping or sticking, I have cleaned it as best I can but really it’s only a visual issue. Please see the attached photo in the listing. Only after cleaning it only produced a slight hissing sound when playing, all 4 sides end in -1 matrices, disc 2 also omits the “An EMI recording” text. As for the cover, it looks in great condition for its age, only slight yellowing and browning in certain area’s. Still mostly presentable in its original creamy white color. It is numbered No.0424415, a high number indeed but a mono sleeve with no visible stereo indicator present on the back cover. A really nice solid example.! All the inserts are included and are still in great shape, the original black inners are present and are still holding together nicely. Overall a great copy for starting out and still a good sold playing copy despite the little issue on side 4, still wonderful and worthy of any Beatles collection, this is my last original mono copy for now, so you don’t want to miss out on it.!! They are increasingly becoming more harder to find in any descent solid complete condition and there getting more expensive.! So good luck and if any questions please ask away.!!
