Description

This record is in good/very good condition and has the number 0363931 embossed on the front cover. Understandably, it was played a lot when I first got it and a couple of tracks are the worse for wear. Nevertheless, the sound quality is still great. I'll summarise its condition as follows:

Side A has visible scuff marks/superficial scratches and there is audible surface noise on the intervals between the tracks and the run-off groove. Track 1 is damaged, there's an abrasion on the intro, which is clearly audible and the pick-up jumps at the beginning and the end of the track. Track 7 is somewhat worn in comparison to other tracks.

Side B is very good. It has visible scuff marks, which are not audible.

Side C has visible scuff marks. Track 1 is damaged and the pick-up jumps in two places. Track 7 has sound distortion towards the end.

Side D is very good and has some visible scuff marks which are not audible.

The cover is in good condition, is worn on the spine and some corners. There are also some scribblings on the left inside cover. The inner sleeves are worn along the top edges and one of them is held together with tape.

The album was originally issued with 4 glossy photos, but, sadly the one of George Harrison is missing. The double sided poster is intact and in very good condition.

This record has been in my possession since it was issued in 1968. For the last 20 years it has lain undisturbed in a plastic box. Now I am selling off my collection. All records will be posted, enclosed in a polythene sleeve inside a strong cardboard mailer.

Like many other sellers, I have graded records in accordance with The UK's Rare Record Price Guide (RRPG), summarised as follows:

Mint: Record in brand new condition. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.

Excellent: Record shows some signs of being played, with very little reduction in sound quality. The cover can have slight wear or creasing.

Very Good: The record has been played many times, but with no reduction in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover without major defects.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated, with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover shows signs of folding, scuffing of edges, spine plits and discolouration.

Fair: The record is just playable, has considerable surface noise and may even jump. The cover is torn, stained or defaced.
