Description
For sale is a rare early first U.K. stereo press of the Beatles second album ‘With the Beatles’
Identifiable by the Gotta misprint for track 3 side 2 on both sleeve and label, as well as the Jobete miscredit for the track Money.
Original sleeve in VG condition. Wear to opening edges with minor tears, but intact and readable spine and no writing on rear. Tape and tape residue top and bottom right, but no signs of why tape was first applied.
Record has very early 2RG and 1M stampers.
Labels very clean with very minor spindle wear.
Visually both sides are a strong VG, verging on VG+. Minor hairlines and scuffs but otherwise very clean.
Very slight warp which did not affect play.
Sonically both sides play close to Excellent with only very occasional crackles but no clicks sticks skips or jumps.
