Collectable 1st variation label variation details:
UK With The Beatles Y&B with the "Jobete" credit for Money - the "Jobete" credit for the song Money denotes a very early pressing since this initial credit was incorrect and the labels were later changed to the correct credit which should have been "Dominion". You should not pass up a mono copy with the "Jobete" credit!
Any copy of the Beatles' first four UK releases with "The Parlophone Co. LTD..." printed along the label rim. Later pressings (starting in 1965) were changed to "The Gramophone Co. LTD...". Copies of the first four LPs with "The Parlophone Co. LTD..." are worth more than copies with the "Gramophone Co. LTD..." text.
Mono 1st Pressing, (Variation A)When this LP was initially released there were a few little problems on the label that still had to be cleared up. The song title 'You Really Got a Hold on Me' was mis-spelled as 'You Really Gotta Hold on Me' and the song 'Money' was credited to the publishers 'Jobete'. In stereo these are quite easy to find, but in mono this label variation is a lot scarcer. On all the original copies, the credit to 'Till There Was You' was mis-spelled as 'Willson'.
As can been seen from the close up photographs of the labels, this copy has ALL of the above distinctions (highlighted in blue) and is therefore the first and most collectable mono version of "With The Beatles"

Condition:
Vinyl (Visual): EX / Light surface marks only. No major scratches
Vinyl (Audio): EX / Plays with only very light surface noise, even between tracks. No audible evidence of groove damage.
Labels: EX / Some light wear around spindle hole indicates that this record has been played
Cover - Front: EX + / Garrod & Lofthouse made in England with "Emitex" logo. There are no rips and only a couple of very small creases near the spine. Laminate intact. One very small (1/2") scuff on front near the bottom (see picture) Borders and edges have only very slight signs of wear.
Cover - Rear: EX / There are no tears or creases. All printing EX+. Some slight discolouration from age. All seams are EX with no signs of parting.
Inner Sleeve: Original polythene line white sleeve with blue print.

Very Good – Used, Sleeve will wave obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear, but will play with no major faults, but may have some surface noise
This record is part of my private record collection and I have owned it from new.
It is NOT a “cleaned up for sale” copy and has been lovingly cared for from new. It has only ever been played on Audiophile equipment at a low tracking force (1gram Shure V15 variants in an SME tonearm on a Garrard 401 transcription turntable).
