Record Description:
Due to a large number previous loses I am no longer offering shipping to the following countries: France, Italy and Spain.
The Beatles, With the Beatles, Parlophone, PMC 1206.
UK 1st MONO pressing 22nd November 1963 release on the black and yellow Parlophone label.
The matrix 1N cuttings of the mono « With the Beatles » are reported to be different from subsequent versions (so called « loud cut »), in that after they were issued, the EMI cutting engineers were requested to cut down on the bass, since early complained of skipping needles due to mist racking.
The side 2 label carries the incorrect 'Jobete Mus. NCB' publishing credit for 'Money' & the ‘MKT' purchase tax code.
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-1N & XEX 448-1N
Housed within an early front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the 'darker' front image & large 'mono' indicator.
As with the side 2 label, the cover caries the incorrect 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling.
Complete with its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.
Cover is VG++, Vinyl is VG++ (very light background noise, few hairlines, tested and play really GREAT).
We have a VPI machine; we thoroughly clean all records and placed them in a japanese inner sleeve.
