Description
The Beatles - With the Beatles RARE MONO 1st UK Press Vinyl LP 1963 VG/VG+ conditions JOBETE credit with MT tax code on label on side A. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class, FREE postage for UK buyers (not including Channel Islands).
Sleeve is laminated at the front and presents some creases around the edges, shelf and storage wear and rubbed corners. Spine is fully legible and sleeve shows a tiny bit of ring mark in places at the front and some age discolouration to opening edge at the back plus some age marks.Overall this would be in VG+ conditions but due to a tiny piece of the cover missing (shown in picture) I think it is fair to grade it as VG.
Vinyl retains a lovely sheen to it, and shows some light scuff marks/hairlines to both sides (shown in pictures).I have recently cleaned it and listened to it all the way through and was expecting playback to be somewhere between G+ and VG, but with my surprise it turned out to be better than that with minimal surface/background noise in between tracks or quiet moments, and that's why I personally think this reflects more VG/VG+ standards, clear and crisp sound throughout.
This also comes with the original Emitex inner sleeve which is in very good conditions and with no tears or seam splits.

This specific MONO1st UK press is considered amongst record collectors to be a rarer copy than the majority for a number of differentiators such as the Jobete credit for Money (later pressings have Dominion Belinda as credit), the slang "Gotta" instead of "Got a" in You really gotta hold on me and the presence of the MT tax code on side A label.
Please note that I will be cleaning the vinyl once more after the auction ends so that the new owner can enjoy an even better sound quality.
