THE BEATLES     ( RARE  1963  UK  DECCA CONTRACT  PRESSING  , COMPLETE WITH EARLIEST ISSUED  GARROD & LOFTHOUSE  WITH THE DARKER FRONT PANEL AND PRINTING ERROR .

WITH THE BEATLES

This was the Beatles second LP released on the 22nd of November 1963 , during this time Beatlemania was sweeping across the nation and EMI had to contract DECCA to help keep up with demand. The Beatles were working flat out during this period , with live performances, radio shows etc and managed to complete this 14 track album in 28 hours ! shortly after this  , The Beatles had 2 Top albums , 2 Top singles and the 3 Top Eps !.......... Not a bad achievement !

COVER

This is an original tri-flapped GARROD & LOFTHOUSE earliest issued cover, which has the darker front panel and the miss printing of ' gotta' ! The laminated front panel is bright and clean with , bubbles, lifting and only a couple of the small stress creases coming from the edges . The corners are all tidy with only minimum bumps , the spine still strong and square shaped and perfect text.The rear panel has survived without writing etc and only has a couple of light handling marks toward the opening edge , not brilliant white but still very clean and presentable for this early 1st issued cover .All flaps are clean and intact with no tears , cracks etc , overall a very worthy example   ( see-pics ) EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION !

VINYL

Both sides have a deep glossy shine with clear deep grooves ,No scratches or nasty scuffs, there are a few light fingernail rubs and some faint hairlines but these are harmless and do not affect play. Both sides play through very well with clear audio no pops, skips or repeats and just a little low background noise here and there, mainly present between tracks.Allthough it's not a near mint example nd has seen some playing ,it has been treated with care and is still avery nice looking and sounding example of this rare Decca pressing. (see-pics) Both Visualy and Audibly EXCELLENT MINUS   CONDITION !

Original Emitex  inner sleeve which has also survived very well, clean and bright with only some light creasing to fault  !
