Original Vinyl LP from 1969 Yellow Submarine by the Beatles Apple/EMI Records PMC 7070 Stereo from 1969
This is an original 12 inch vinyl LP from 1969.
The sleeve is in reasonable condition, with no tears, rips or other serious problems. There is a small stain on the top left of the front (see photo) and the bottom right-hand corner has a minor crease. Otherwise, considering it is now 50 years old, the outer sleeve is in pretty fair condition with only the expected signs of wear. The spine and corners are fine and undamaged.
The original inner white sleeve has a few small stains on one side, and there are small tears along the edges resulting from the record being dropped in over the decades. Slight browning in colour due to age.
The vinyl itself appears to be in fair condition, with only one or two surface minor scratches. It has been played, but for the last 35 years it has been kept in its sleeve and stored in safe, dry conditions. Unfortunately, I no longer own a turntable, so I cannot comment on how well it plays. But my recollection is that it played without jumps or cracks, and visual inspection suggests that playback would be OK.
I am not a dealer in vinyl, and I have tried to describe the condition of the record as honestly as I can (and take photographs to help with the condition). Overall, I'd say this is a pretty good, reasonably clean example of the Beatles' classic album, and one that is becoming increasingly hard to find.
I will post the record in a sturdy cardboard packet specially designed for sending LPs by post.
