Description
I am currently auctioning off some my own personal collection of LP's that I have collected over many years. I will try to be as accurate as possible. Having said that, if you need any more information, contact me. Oh and please don't ask me to end the auction early.
Beatles Yellow Submarine 1st UK Stereo Pressing, PCS 7070 from January 1969. This is the second Matrix variant version:
Side 1; 715-3
Side 2; 716-1
Overall in Excellent Condition.
NOTES:
Stereo version of the first pressing includes standard Apple labels with ‘Sold in U.K.’ statement, and red lines above and below the sleeve notes on the back of sleeve.

THE vinyl is in overall excellent condition and is still bright & shiny looking. There looks to be a slight bit of adhesive removal on side 2 of the record's label (see photos), very minor. It may clean off with some kind of adhesive remover, I have not tried myself. The vinyl has a few faint surface paper scuffs and feint marks (certainly nothing feelable). I have played the record through in it's entirety and could only hear a few of the faintest crackles between and during some of the tracks. There was no skipping or sticking. On side 2, at the end of track 4 and the beginning of track 5 (both instrumental), there are a few little clicks which last for a few seconds. The overall sound is great and certainly in keeping with pretty much all records of this period. In all a really well looked after album.
Not the original inner sleeve, but a replacement it is in excellent condition.
The original front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. flip back cover, is overall in excellent condition. There is some very light creasing and a minimal overall wear. There is a slight wear on the bottom, centre on the rear by the flip-up fold (see photos) although this is minimal. There is very little to no edge wear and no real spinal wear (the words are all perfectly legible). There are no splits, and no major corner wear. The laminate still retains its shiny glossy look all over. There are no rips and no tears. The opening edge is straight.
