This exceptional UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7070

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text.

Matrices: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1

Stamper codes: 2,4/RO & 3/AH

Vinyl weight: 141g

Housed in a superb front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.

Complete with original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.

CONDITION

Labels: MINT -

A beautiful set with no more than 3-4 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Disc:

Visual: MINT

Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with nothing more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine beneath halogen light. A tough one to upgrade.

Audio: MINT -

Played less than a handful of times on quality equipment only, all tracks play flawlessly with a warmth and clarity unique to this 1st pressing.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A superb example with a vibrant unworn front panel laminate bearing only a few small spine wrinkles but no other signs of wear. There is a minor bruise to the lower right corner but all others and both opening edges are totally unworn. the rear panel has a hint of storage towards the opening edge, but no writing, stickers or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & both seams and the spine are tight and undamaged.
