Description
Up for auction is a copy of the Beatles "Yesterday and Today" LP, from 1966, this copy being an ORIGINAL 2nd State STEREO BUTCHER COVER! It's easily one of the nicer examples I've had, and one of the nicest I've seen come up for sale in a while - there's NO heavy ringwear (as often seen on copies), no split seams, no writing, no tape, etc. on the jacket and Ringo's V-neck is clearly visible (see photo #2). As Beatles collectors know, Stereo pressings are much scarcer than Mono copies, and come up for sale less often.
CONDITION: the jacket is VG++/NM- with a tiny corner ding/very small seam wear near the bottom corner, extremely light staining on the bottom of the front, and some light ringwear to the back (almost unnoticeable). The vinyl is in VG/VG- shape, with one feelable scratch on each side; the original Capitol company inner sleeve is included.
