Description
For sale is a piece of musical history - The Beatles' 'Yesterday and Today' vinyl. This album's front cover alone holds a fascinating backstory. Originally, it featured the controversial 'butcher cover,' where the Fab Four posed with dolls and raw meat, making it a rare collector's item. Due to public outcry, most copies were recalled and had a new cover pasted over, making the original 'butcher cover' editions highly sought after.
Now, let's talk about authenticity. My copy is a genuine 'butcher cover' version from my late grandfather's collection, passed down to me. It bears the unmistakable marks of authenticity, from the iconic cover with its peeling overlay to the 'trunk cover' beneath. This is a rare find for serious Beatles enthusiasts.
Condition-wise, the vinyl is in VG condition with minor scuffs that don't affect the exceptional audio quality. The sleeve, solid VG+, only has a slight tear on the bottom left and my last name discreetly written on the top left. This record is not just a collectible; it's a piece of personal and musical history, and it's ready for a new home. Don't miss your chance to own a genuine piece of Beatles lore.
Rest assured, I take the utmost care in packaging. Your authentic 'butcher cover' Beatles record will be carefully protected in bubble wrap, placed within a sturdy record mailer to prevent any damage during transit. It will be shipped promptly via a trusted courier service, ensuring that it reaches you in the same condition as described.
