Description

I am selling my Mono 2nd state Butcher record. This is the 2nd state version of the controversial Yesterday And Today record by The Beatles. The original (1st state) has a photo of  The Beatles in white lab coats holding baby dolls and butchered meat and was almost instantly recalled. ( copy of recall letter included )  The 2nd picture I have posted shows the faint black V from Ringo's sweater on the original cover below. It was pressed at RIAA plant 6 (also pictured)  Pressing number T 2553 and has the original orange record sleeve from Capital Records.
There is a small separation of the 2nd state cover on the bottom left of the front cover and there is some scuffs to the cover over George's hair. (both pictured) All sides/ seems/ edges are in great shape. Record itself plays great, there are some small scratches and dings from the last 50 years. Ringware is visible on the front cover from the record being inside the album. ( not uncommon )
Contact me with any questions.  Thanks for looking.
