The Beatles Yesterday and Today
Capitol ST 2553
Record has surface scratches and smudging on both sides. Side 1 has slight static on track one then clears up, good sound. Side 2 has slight static on track one and the last tract – good sound overall. Static may clean up with cleaning the record. The Capital record label on side 1 has some ink scribbles on the Capital and wear around the spindle hole. The label on side 2 is in good condition, but there is a nick in the paper at the spindle hole and it too shows wear. Its inner sleeve has aged brown.
The front of the album has aged brown. The corners have very minor wear. The bottom and top edges have some paper loss. There is a water stain on the bottom and top edges on the front and the open side of the album.
The back of the album was white, but it has aging or foxing on it. The back of the album has been wet and there are stains from this, especially the top left hand side of the album and at the bottom of the album. It has a left a brown and black spotted water mark with some paper loss or print loss in the description at the top about Capital. The former owner’s name was written in blue ink, then scribbled over on the back of the album. The two outer corners on the back have paper loss. Plus there is a split on the bottom left edge, where the two sides meet.
