I purchased this album from the personal collection of Perry Cox. He provided a documented letter of authenticity and grading certification. This letter states the following:
 "THIS LETTER CERTIFIES THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE ITEM ILLUSTRATED BELOW. THIS ITEM IS INDEED AN ORIGINAL 1966 STEREO COPY OF THE BEATLES ALBUM, "YESTERDAY AND TODAY" (Capitol ST-2553). THIS DOCUMENT IS ONLY VALID WITH THE ITEM PICTURED ON THE DOCUMENT. CONDITION OF THE ALBUM COVER AT THE TIME OF THE DOCUMENT IS VG+++. THE SMALL NUMBER ON THE BACK RIGHT OF THIS COVER IS A "5".   THIS ITEM HAS BEEN EXAMINED BY ME , PERRY COX, PERSONALLY"
I VERIFY THIS ALBUM COVER AS ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC. THIS ALBUM COVER HAS HAD THE REPLACEMENT TRUNK PICTURE SLICK PASTED OVER THE BUTCHER COVER UNDERNEATH. Signed  Perry Cox 9-5-05
A replica of the Capitol recall letter was also provided to me by Mr. Cox. I placed the album cover and record in a special display frame upon receipt.
