Description

  • Up for sale is this original complete 'Let It Be' box set issued in The United Kingdom in May of 1970. The record has '2U' '2U' in the dead wax. The record is in very good+ condition with light play wear & a few paper scuffs. The record played all the way through on my Thornes turntable in fine stereo. This is the best way to listen to the original Phil Spector mixes. There is some ticks in between songs & in quiet passages. The laminated cover has the 'Red Apple' on the back. The cover is in very good condition with some record impression wear & a few laminate creases. The spine is in nice condition with all the printing. The original inner sleeve has patent #1125555. The outer sleeve to the box is in very good condition with some edge wear & laminate creases. The original inside sleeves to the box set have storage aging wear with a few splits on the inner cardboard sleeve. The 'Get Back' book is in very good+ condition being complete & no loose pages from the binding. These early UK pressing sure sound so much better than the U.S. releases. You can really hear what The Beatles & Phil Spector meant you to hear. This box set will be double boxed for shipment.Thanks Frank
