The Beatles vinyl lp Revolver Parlophone PMC7009 black and yellow label 1st pressing mono with early stampers

Matrix YEX605-2  with 1 at 3 o'clock GT at 9 o'clock / YEX606-1 with 1 at 3 o'clock GA at 9 o'clock. KT on Side 2 label.

Mono 1st pressing according to jpgr.co.uk
http://www.jpgr.co.uk/pcs7088.html
This is the rare mono version [very] first pressing, hastily withdrawn (I believe after one day of sales), which had a different mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" (known as "remix 11").
The label has track 4 on Side 2 as DR. ROBERT

Vinyl is Side 1 Good+/ Side 2 Good+. The vinyl has numerous surface marks. You can listen to the unedited recording of both sides of the vinyl and I suggest you do this for at least 5 minutes. I have listened to this in full to grade it. There is some background crackle throughout and some very light pops over Eleanor Rigby, Here There and Everywhere and Yellow Submarine.
Tomorrow Never Knows can be found at the end of Side 2. There is some crackle before Tomorrow Never Knows but the track itself plays well. The word BILL is written in pen on the yellow £ trademark sign on Side 1.

Flipback sleeve is Very Good+ (Small creases around edges and over one corner on rear and light ring wear). Inner sleeve is white poly lined Emitex paper inner which is Very Good+ (Excellent apart from a couple of pens marks). This is the G&L sleeve. 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending PMC7009 PCS7009' on bottom flipback.

Summary:- A ultra-rare 1st mono pressing which hasn't been cared for but is still in listenable condition..................very reasonable starting price with only £3.25 P&P to UK.

This has been cleaned twice on a Okki Nokki RCM FREE for the buyer.

Grading system used:-

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
