Welcome to 20th Century Collectables
The Beatles – White Album - Original 1968 UK stereo pressing with original top opening numbered sleeve and dark green Apple labels with ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
A relatively early copy, pressed and manufactured ahead of the 22nd November 1968 release date.
Matrix numbers:
YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1, YEX 712-1 (all first matrix pressings)
Stamper codes: 2/GGT, 3/GOG, 8/GMO, 4/GPH

CONDITION
Discs
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT- Disc 2: VERY GOOD+
Both records retain much of their original sheen when viewed in strong daylight. Under a strong halogen desk light there are one or two light scuffs and the occasional hairline mark present on each disc. All in all a respectable set of records and in above average condition compared to most. Both heavy duty discs lie 100% flat on the turntable.
Audio: VERY GOOD+
There is some surface noise evident on some of the quieter passages, however there has been no degradation to the overall music signals themselves with the exception of some distortion at the end of the track ‘Julia’ on side 2. All in all it remains a pleasant listening experience. Neither record jumps or sticks.
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean set of labels with only moderate signs of light spindle trails. None of the labels have any writing to them.
Cover
VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-
An original 1968 1st issue top opening numbered sleeve showing only moderate signs of general wear for its age. The laminate over the word ‘The Beatles’ is still intact as are both flipbacks.

Comes with replacement inners.
