Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Abbey Road" picture disc LP, Capitol SEAX-11900, released in 1978. This is the US pressing, which is much rarer than the European import. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- condition; I see a couple of light marks which, with this format, are very hard to see (and, as a rule, picture discs won't play with the same fidelity as a normal disc anyway). The slipcover is in VG condition, with some general age/seam wear, nothing severe. Classic Beatles, in a very rare format.
