Description
This auction is for The Beatles "Hey Jude/Revolution" vinyl 45 - Apple Records 2276.
This is the first issue that has "Mfd by Apple" in the rim print on the sliced apple side. The B side text is vertically printed. These first labels are missing the matrix number, "Recorded In England" and reference to George Martin as producer. It was issued August 26, 1968 and includes the rare thumb cut west coast "The Beatles On Apple" sleeve.
The A side vinyl has a few very light hairline scratches. B side looks fine. There is a "*" in the dead wax indicating that this is a west coast issue. Record grades VG++.
The thumbcut sleeve has no splits, no writing, but does have a small "16" sticker on the front. Otherwise, there is just minor handling wear to the sleeve.
