I'm re-listing this LP for you Beatles fans that have now finished your Christmas shopping. According to the Goldmine grading standards this LP is definitely in VG+ condition or better. I will also be listing 5 other Beatles LPs this and next week that are in better condition than this one. One of them is this LP with "The Beatles" in green released in 1965. Stay tuned if you're a Beatles fan.
Up for auction is "Meet The Beatles" with the tan or brown Beatles on the cover released in 1964. You can look at the photos and see that the song titles have the ASCAP and BMI publishing credits after each song so this is not the very 1st issue (which I do have somewhere but can't find). BMI on "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and ASCAP on all the other songs.
LP Condition: I don't think that you'll find 3 out of 100 in as good a shape as this one. I cannot grade any LPs higher that VG+ but there are varying degrees of VG+. This one is pretty good. The sound is like the day I brought home a brand new copy of this LP, my first LP ever. This is not that LP. A few very small light scratches, maybe a scuff or two but nothing that will effect play. "This Boy" had a few ticks at the end and there is some surface ticks between tracks but nothing you can hear during the songs. If you're looking for this LP in a condition that you will not need to upgrade, take a good look at this one.
Cover Condition: No ring wear, none, zip! A little crease on the right side of Paul's face to the top of Ringo's head. No seam splits. Spine writing clear but a few wrinkles in paper. Back is as white as I've seen since new. There is one knock to the back, the previous owner's name in left hand corner visible in photo.
The original inner paper sleeve is included but I don't like paper so I've included a paper/poly inner sleeve and a poly outer sleeve to protect the cover.
Because of the overall condition of this LP and cover I have to start the bidding at $39.95 (CHEAP) because there are hundreds of these on e-bay.
Shipping will be media mail in a new LP mailer. I will combine shipping so you only have to pay once but wait for an invoice if you win more than one auction.
