Description
This auction is for The Beatles "Please Please Me" vinyl stereo LP - Parlophone Records PCS 3042 - UK Issue.
The laminated cover is in nice condition. There are no seam or spine splits, no writing, etc. The corners are a bit rounded. The back cover has a small price sticker on the lower right corner. Appears to have been purchased at a US Air Force Exchange for $2.35. The lower right corner also has "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse, LTD. Patents pending". Cover grades VG+.
The vinyl has some scratches and some scuffing - visually grades VG+. Side 1 dead wax reads YEX 94 - 1; side 2 - YEX 95 - 1.
The labels are black with silver print and yellow "PARLPHONE" and a yellow trademark. The rim print reads "The Parlophone Co., Ltd, All Rights of the Manufacturer.....". Also "Made In Great Britain" is printed under the group name after the song titles. There is no printed resale statement across the middle of the label. "Recording First Published 1963" is also printed on the labels.
I believe this is a second issue of the LP.
