The Beautiful South - Carry On Up The Charts 12" Vinyl LP Rare 1994 Original.
This is the 33 RPM best of album released on Go! Discs (catalogue number 828 572-1) in 1994.
The vinyl is in good plus condition. Side one has one fairly sizeable scratch and an area with a few lighter scratches. I have shown these in separate photos. Side two looks absolutely fine with no sign of any scratches, scuffs or marks.
I have listened to both sides all the way through and would describe the sound as follows :-
Tracks 4 (A Little Time) and 5 (My Book) on side one have some small crackling and feedback but no skipping. The crackling is intermittent rather than continuous. The feedback is not major.
Side two plays perfectly with no noticeable issues of any kind.
I should point out that the player I use is approximately 50 years old and isn't an expensive model, so this probably affects the sound quality a little too.
The cardboard sleeve is in very good plus condition. It just has some very slight wear in the corners and along the edges. It has been stored in a clear protective plastic sleeve.
The original inlay sleeve featuring lyrics from the album is in excellent condition. This shows no real signs of wear at all.
