Manufactured on thick 10" vinyl this classic album was released one year after Rock 'n' Roll No 2 in 1957. As most fans will know,this was the third and final album release on 'His Masters Voice' ( Nipper,red plumb) label before RCA took over distribution in the Uk. Complete with historical gramophonic sleeve notes of the period... A Real Treasure !

This vinyl has been play tested on a transcription deck fitted with a lightweight cartridge. It plays very well, with no skips or jumps and the sound quality is Excellent.
As you would expect from vinyl of this age,there is some very minor background pop & crackle. However,even when played at full volume,this is hardly noticable,as all vocals are crystal clear and up front,as are the instrumentals. If I had to choose a side,I would say that,side one is marginally better than side two,which has a minor pop on the lead out on "Playing For Keeps"..... Overall,this is a very nice example for its age.
