Description

Someone is going to be very happy. This is the legendary 5 LP Box Set of Big Bill Broonzy rapping to Bill Randle in a recording studio about his life and times and incidentally playing a huge bunch of songs and some of the most stunning acoustic blues guitar ever committed to wax. This set is stupendous. And every Lp is dead-on mint, no bones about it, PERFECT! The box itself is Mint-, with a couple of miniscule scrapes, a tiny corner tear and a BB cutout hole in the lower left. The front cover is a great portraint of Big Bill.

The conversational segments are priceless. Recorded in 1957, shortly before Big Bill's death. A fine memorial to this talented giant of the blues. On Verve.
