The Bill Evans Trio On A Monday Evening
Bill Evans is one of the great pianists of Jazz. He will forever be known for his contribution to one of the all-time great jazz albums, Miles Davis’ Kind Of Blue, released in 1959. And his Sunday At The Village Vanguard is a landmark record of it’s own – the interplay of bass, drums and piano would be changed for all jazz musicians after its release in 1961. Bill Evans died in 1981. During his career he released or was featured on at least 100 albums, many released posthumously. On A Monday Evening wasn’t released until 2017. But it is one of his greats. Recorded in concert at the Madison Union Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin on November 15, 1976. Pressed on 180g vinyl. This is a sealed promotional copy (note marker strike through bar code, pictured). Priced to sell.
