Description

THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL "THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE MONKEES" U.S. 1968 MONO LP IN Excellent condition

Up for sale is the Monkees 1968 album titled "The Birds, The Bees And The Monkees".  Colgems COM-109 This is the rare USA mono version for this classic Monkees title.  Issued in April 1968 as the mono format for records was being phased out.  This album has become the Holy Grail for Monkee collectors for it's unique mixes that differ from the common stereo version.

Play graded vinyl as Excellent with some minor paper scuffs, but nothing that affects the sound or playback
The labels are shiny with only a couple spindle hole marks and small scratches (see pictures)
The jacket is Near Mint & still in the original shrink wrap.

I acquired this record in 2011 and since that time I have not seen a better copy come up for sale on eBay or Discogs.

I will ship this LP outside the jacket in a double box with extra reinforcements

From a smoke free, pet free home.

Prefer to sell to buyers in the USA only, if you live in another country write me before buying.

Vinyl Grading System

Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.

Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.

Excellent (E) – Same but I’d tolerate very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.

Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.

Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of playing, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.

Good (G) – Not really suitable to collecting; more of a place-holder until you can find a better copy. I would only be selling something really desirable in this condition; expect some scratches & a heavily worn jacket.

Poor (P), Fair (F)  I don't sell any records in theses conditions.
