The Black Crowes - Amorica
Original UK/Euro White Vinyl LP (made in Germany), still sealed, released on American Records in 1994. Includes printed innersleeve. Innersleeve might show some little ringwear. I assure that this is an original pressing, no counterfeit. I bought it in early '95. 11 tracks on this outstanding record.
On Amorica, the Black Crowes finally come into their own, taking their cue from the most relaxed, groove-oriented tracks on their previous album. While the album contains no immediately obvious singles, the songs are the best the band has ever written, stretching out into a hard, jam-oriented, funky blues-rock.
The Black Crowes' influences are still discernible -- no band celebrates the glory days of rock culture quite as enthusiastically -- but they use the music of the Stones, the Faces, and Little Feat much the same way the Stones used the music of Chuck Berry: it's a starting point that leads the band into a new direction, incorporating different musical genres, and making the music original. That sense of reinterpretation is what keeps Amorica fresh.

Original-UK / Euro White Vinyl LP (hergestellt in Deutschland), noch original verpackt. 1994 veröffentlicht auf American Records. Selbstverständlich mit original OIS. Das OIS könnte minimal Ringwear Spuren aufweisen. Ich versichere, dass es sich um eine Erstausgabe handelt und nicht um ein Counterfeit. Die Platte habe ich '95 selbst gekauft. Die Platte umfasst 11 Songs.
Wer gedacht hat, kräftiger, schöner und ideenreicher als die Black Crowes auf dem Vorgänger-Album "The Southern Harmony..." könne man Rock'n'Roll nicht inszinieren, darf sich mit "Amorica" eines besseren belehren lassen: Nein, die Black Crowes sind ganz bestimmt nicht einfach nur Seventies-Zitatensammler und marijuana- rauchende Lausebengel, und dieses Album ist auch nicht "only Rock'n'Roll"- es ist eine Zusammenstellung filigran komponierter und ebenso gespielter Songs, "Rock'n'Roll" vielleicht noch, aber mit der emotionalen Intensität großer Momente des Grunge: Tiefe, schöne Melancholie wechselt sich ab mit leicht schrägem, vertracktem Rock. Musik für jede Tages- Nacht- und Jahreszeit, das Meisterwerk des Sextetts aus Atlanta.
