Rare mono Jazz LP Recorded Jan 20th 1963
Vinyl: A side: Generally Excellent when play tested, superb clear sound with just a few quiet pops on A3 where the music is softer. B Side - A little more crackle and occasional pop during the string/guitar section near the start of B1 but soon lost in the music. Visually very good, a strong sheen but a few hairlines and the odd mark.
Labels VG+ clean, bright, silver on black lettering with red and white HMV logo and strapline. Fairly mild spindle marks. Jazz Workshop Inc. The Gramophone Co Ltd on the rim. Made in Great Britain.
Inner sleeve: VG + No rips or tears, PATENT Nos. 1125555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. Just a little age discolouration
Sleeve: Laminated front, flip back cover. Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending CLP 1694. Use Emitex. CLP 1694 Recorded by ABC Paramount Records Inc., U.S.A. Recorded January 20th 1963. A little discolouration on the reverse, and some red ink front left and back right (see photos) The laminate is intact. There is a 15mm tear on front opening, but it’s pretty clean so not too noticeable.
