Description

The Blue Nile – Hats - Rare - 1989 Near-mint vinyl. Condition is "Used".

First pressing of the original Linn release. I received this LP as a gift from Linn during a dealer demonstration of the Linn Lingo power supply for their LP12 turntable in 1990. I played it on my own LP12 that evening - didn’t care for it - and stored it for 30 years until I played it again this morning on that same LP12 - still don’t care for it. It’s a stunning recording, as you would expect from Linn, synth drums and all... The pressing remains essentially tick-free, no warps. The cover would be near perfect except for a slight crease visible from the rear which I highlighted and magnified in its own photo.
