ITINERARIO BEAT
Musiche di Rigol
Complesso The Blue Sharks
1973 Metropole Records SM 7018
Absolutely fantastic and very underrated Italian Library gem that have been sampled by Travis Scott feat. Kacy Hill for his track “90210”. Music is performed by the enigmatic studio band "The Blue Sharks", responsible for two other killer albums released on Leonardi, “It Became Crystal” and “Funny Walk” and featuring among others Maestro Stelvio Cipriani. Officially attributed to Rigol, the pseudonym of composer Duilio Radici, the album also features the uncredited compositions of Ugo Fusco (according to SIAE). A super cool set of ten Easy Listening instrumental compositions blending bass, driven drums, piano, and Hammond organ, meticulously arranged and performed with a captivating fusion of Beat, Jazz-Funk, and Symphonic Pop elements. Enjoy the open drums of “Itenerario Romantico” with its crazy Hip Hop mood sampled by Travis Scott and more groovy, sleazy Lounge and Hammond-esque vibes from this Italian Library LP.
