Description

The Mobile Fidelity audiophile release of The Blues...a Real Summit Meeting MFSL 2-518
This is a stunningly phenomenal recording.  I purchased it new sometime in the late 80s or early 90s and cared for it as only a maniacal audiophile can.
The cover is in fantastic shape, NM but this IS A CUTOUT (see pictures!)  I can't remember finding it in the cutout bin, but as I was reviewing and photographing this for listing on ebay I noticed it is cutout in the upper right corner of the cover.  Also note there is a small hole in the rice paper sleeve (also shown in pictures).
The vinyl still looks great and clean, I just played a few samples of this before listing and it sounds clean with terrific dynamics and presence -- crazy good recording on nice mfsl vinyl.  Now, this is a used record and while it appears in super shape I am sure there will be a few pops and ticks and minor surface noise, this is typical of all lps so don't be expecting CD quality silence.  I cared for this very well through the years and know it was not exposed to mishandling.  There are some rings around the spindle hole which are from the record clamp of an Ariston turntable I used to own and it is not the result of careless handling.
I will be traveling much of next week and will have very limited internet connectivity until Saturday 7/25 so if you have a question there may be some delay in my response.
I will only ship to US addresses.
Payment due within 3 days of auction's close
