Description
This is a mail order-only 1975 anthology from the EMI subsidiary World Records, featuring eighty Buddy Holly tracks (some mono, some stereo, some unavailable in the UK before this anthology) spread over five LPs and presented in a textured card case with a 32-page colour booklet. Also included is a typewritten press release (since this copy was sent to Melody Maker for review) and a World Records guarantee -- possibly no longer valid! All five records are in mint condition, never having been played. All five inner sleeves are also in mint condition. All five outer sleeves are in mint condition, having been protected by the presentation case. The front of the presentation case is in Excellent condition, with only the tiniest amount of discolouration towards the edges. The edges themselves have picked up some minor shelf wear. The only major damage is to the back cover of the presentation case, which must have been against a cold wall at some point as it has developed extensive 'liver spot' discolouration -- visible in the seventh picture. Since that is the only significant damage, and all contents are mint condition and unplayed, the overall condition of this lost is Excellent.
