Description

This is a The Byrds - The Notorious Byrd Brothers mono LP put out  by Columbia Records of New York City in 1968,CL 2775. I am not a fan of the goldmine record grading scale many use.I use a 10 scale. On a 10 scale the vinyl is an 8.5.It was close to an 8.75,but just had a few too many clicks to let me rate it an 8.75.To be more specific, side 2 I would rate an 8.75.It has fewer clicks than side 1,which is an 8.5.I always rate with lowest number so It is an 8.5 for the vinyl. The jacket is an easy 9.Nothing wrong with it.It looks like it was just taken out of shrink wrap. The jacket could be rated higher than a 9 actually, but I don't like rating used records higher than a 9 unless they are sealed. This was the sixth Byrds LP if I recall. It did OK on the charts and finally ended up getting it's due through the years. Now,this is considered one of the better Byrds LPs.It has Psychedelic Rock,Folk Rock,Country Rock,Pop Rock,Rock & Roll ,etc.I think if you liked the way the Beatles used Psychedelia in their music you'll like the Byrds style of Psychedelic. There are also some compelling Dylan type/early Byrds type songs.Goin' Back is on here too, which should have been a hit.The ruling songs are: Artificial Energy,Goin' Back,Natural Harmony,Draft Morning, Wasn't Born To Follow,Get To You,Change Is Now,Old John Robertson,Tribal Gathering,Dolphins Smile and Space Odyssey..  ................ ....... .. .. I will combine shipping and ship as cheap as possible by weight.Payment via Paypal or Cashiers Check. If you buy more than one item from me I will ship everything together and base shipping charges on the weight of the total package. I will ship all over the world. Let's expand on that since ebay wants a disclaimer now on shipping out of the USA.  You need to know the customs rules of your own country. You have to pay the fees, tariffs, etc if there are any when the item gets to your country. Customs forms have to be accurate as well.  I will send stuff First Class at your risk, your decision.  First Class is untracked and uninsured.Well,it is somewhat trackable as to where/when it leaves the USA,but things can get sketchy when trying to use tracking number in your home country. That means if the package is lost, due to there being no/minimal tracking,it is more or less impossible to find. Even more important is that there is no insurance on it,so if it is lost your refund money is lost. No refund on lost First Class packages. Think hard about shipping Priority. It is more expensive (way more in some cases),but tracked and insured. So,even if the package was lost you get your money back. You have to decide if the risk of First Class is worth the money you save on shipping. That is up to you.   Media Mail in the US is $2.53US Priority is $5.80US. Canada First class is $10.55US  Priority is $28.25US. UK/Europe/South America First Class is $16.75US  Priority is $42.00US. Japan/Pacific Rim First Class is $16.75US Priority is $42.50US. Australia First Class is $16.75US Priority is $39.95US.Other countries of similar location will have similar shipping prices.  Priority is best, tracked and insured. I repeat,First Class is at you own risk. It is untracked(minimally tracked),so if the package is lost your refund money is lost.Having said that First Class has been doing sorta OK of late. There are horror stories of lost records though. You don't want that to happen to you.Thanks.
