Description
For auction is The CHURLS' self-titled record on A&M SP-4169, 1968.
SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to side A completely. It sounded great. No issues other than a single, medium "pop" in A6, "Fish On a Line." I listened to the first 2 cuts on side B, which sounded great.
VINYL: VG
Visually, the vinyl has a few light marks or scuffs, but nothing that looks serious. The first 2 cuts on side B looked iffy, that's why I play-checked them. All good! The only exception is a feelable mark which corresponds to the pop I heard in A6.
COVER: VG+/NM
The cover is very nice condition. The edges are straight and solid, the corners show a slight bit of softening. Front and back are very clean and unmarked. There is a "promo" sticker on the front as well as a "csg" sticker (see photos).
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
This is a desirable record for fans of this genre, in nice condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
