Here is a rare and hard-to-find record by The Cadillacs from 1963. This great New York doo wop group had hits in the 1950's such as "Speedo," "Gloria," "Peek A Boo," "Please Mr. Johnson," and others.
Two of The Cadillacs, Earl "Speedo" Carroll and Ronnie Bright later went on to join The Coasters.
This group of The Cadillacs was led by Bobby Spencer (a.k.a. "Bobby Ray"). Speedo had already joined The Coasters by the time of this release.
The song "I Saw You" was written by Bobby Spencer. "La Bomba" is a remake of Ritchie Valens' hit "La Bamba" from 1958.
The Cadillacs were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame in 2004.
