Description
The Carnegie Hall Library of Classical Music, 20 volumes, each with 5 vinyl records. Each volume consists of a hardcover box containing five 33 1/3 vinyl records. Each record is double-sleeved, and each five-record set includes a booklet listing the music, composers and historical background for the period/composers featured in the volume. The 20 volumes include performances by orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony. Conductors include Colin Davis, Herbert von Karajan, Karl Böhm, Bernard Haitink, Karl Richter, Rafael Kubelik, Seiji Ozawa, Michael Tilson Thomas and Leonard Bernstein. This set has been well-cared for. The boxes show little if any wear: on Beethoven I the left edge of the spine is worn; on Nationalism the top left corner of the spine is worn; a few corners and tops/bottoms of spines are slightly bumped; the gilt on the front and spine of each box is bright; all 100 vinyl records are present and the ones that have been examined appear to be in excellent condition, perhaps unplayed. Delivered free of charge to any address within 60 miles of Grand Rapids Michigan.
