Description

This is a 20 volume "made in Italy" collection which includes 100 albums, in reviewing the albums they appear to be in mint "never played" condition. They are encased and have been very well protected in 20 gold leaf trimmed heavy duty boxed sets. Each set contains 5 high quality vinyl 33 1/3 LP records pressed by Deutsche Grammophon, Philips and Archiz Produkton. Each record is protected in a double sleeve. This archive collection contains a history of classical music from Beethoven to Bach to Mozart. Some of the most renown orchestras and conductors perform in these classicals. You'll hear music by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra and many more.Each box set includes a booklet listing the music, composers, historical background and artists for the set. This fantastic set was produced in the early 70's and was originally purchased through an American Express promotion where the proceeds were donated to the refurbishment of Carnegie Hall in New York City.
