THIS IS A SUPER RARE COLLECTIBLE LP!!! VERY RARELY SEEN!!!

A test pressing of The Cars self-titled debut LP on Elektra Recordsfrom 1978. This is a Specialty Records Corporation pressing with the alternate track listing from the commercial release.  The ordering of "Just What I Needed" and "Good Times Roll" are swapped.

This is the test pressing LP for The Cars Self Titled Debut LP simply tiltled "The Cars" with Catalog #6E-135 for Elektra Records. The Test Pressing is on the Specialty Records Corporation from 1978. Comes in a plain white sleeve/cover/jacket with a printed paper title page dated April 4, 1978. White labels with black print. This is the original test pressing of The Cars first album. It includes the original running order with "Just What I Needed" and "Good Times Roll" switched in running order.  

Up for sale is one(1) The Cars - The Cars Self Titled Debut LP WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING from 1978 for Elektra Records (#6E-135). This is a WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING pressed by the Specialty Record Corporation.

The Vinyl is in very good+ condition but has some surface marks that may cause some surface noise and you may hear some pops or clicks along the way. There are a few surface marks that do not affect play and they look worse than they are. Please see photos. 

STERLING stamped into the dead wax on both sides . Nice clean labels with a few minor spindle marks.

The plain white/generic cover is in very good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, and ring wear, etc... There is a stain of unknown origin on the rear cover. This plain white cover can be easily replaced but I am leaving as I received it. 

The original title insert/page has been taped to the cover, has a tear at the top left just below the tape line approximately 2" long and has a few crumples.

I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! 

I obtained this LP in the early 1980's. I listened to it several times back in the day. It has not been played in over 30+ years.
