Description
This 45 rpm promotional record is that of the 60s band The Cascades. It is their very first recording "There’s A Reason", written by John C. Gummoe. On the reverse side is "Second Chance". This is on Valiant Records.
The Cascades enjoyed world-wide fame in 1963 with their second release "Rhythm Of The Rain", also written by John C. Gummoe, the group’s lead singer.
When the first promo copies became available of "There’s A Reason", I had all of the band members sign my copy. This record has never left my possession. Over the years some of the ink of the signatures has faded, but still quite readable.
It still plays well, although there are sounds of light to medium wear. I would rate it as good but I am not especially experienced in record rating. There are scratches on the disc but it does not skip.
