Hour World
RARE 1969 first Decca pressing…try finding another example like this one…impossible…Only one LP made by this group so ultra scarce…
SKL-R.5001 Open/unboxed blue DECCA label format
2K/2K matrix
Sleeve
MacNeill Press manufacture !Peep hole on reverse to indicate mono/stereo release, this being STEREO recording , complete with original blue stereo inner, poly lined sleeve in excellent condition! First issue pinched spine, clearly displaying title. No rips, nor tears and in fantastic, close to excellent condition. One square cm. discoloration toward opening edge, front face is the only blemish to this fantastic album cover. Amazing find. Graded excellent- condition .
UNBOXED BLUE Decca label format with an extremely faint spindle trace ONLY ! Hardly played EX+ condition . Very first pressing of this impossible to find album release.
Vinyl
Heavyweight vintage pressing . Virtually UNMARKED surfaces! Perhaps the odd sleeve removal marks/hairlines if examined under a strong halogen though appears unmarked against ordinary light.. Distinctive sheen . Stunning visual for a 39 years old, vintage classic!
Audio
Beautiful, clear channels . Virtually no surface disturbance detected, as the tones are delivered with a tremendous range of dynamic sound. Still more room for improvement, despite its already excellent delivery, as there is some dust, still inherent ,in some of the grooves. Vinyl has remained dormant for many years!
A stunning example of this rare pop psyche!
