Description
I've owned this limited edition original copy of The Charlatans first album since it was released in October 1990.
This copy features the increasingly rare original white PVC outer sleeve.
It's had minimal play over the years and has been safely stored in a record box in my attic for the last 25 years or so!
Own a piece of the original Manchester sound!
I would classify the condition as 'Excellent (EX)' according to the Record Collector grading system below.
Record Collector vinyl grading system:
- Near Mint (NM) - A nearly perfect record. Has more than likely been played few times or not at all, and the vinyl will show no imperfections during playback. Sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects. The same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
- Excellent (EX) -The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Sleeve may have slight wear or creasing
- Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve, normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
- Good (GD) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Sleeve suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
