Description

The The Charlatans - Some Friendly (35th Anniversary Edition) Double White Vinyl 2LP is an expanded, newly remastered deluxe reissue of the band's landmark 1990 debut album. Released on Beggars Banquet Records, this limited-edition set features the original 11-track record paired with 9 rare bonus tracks curated by frontman Tim Burgess, all pressed on premium double white colored vinyl within a printed inner gatefold sleeve. Originally released in the autumn of 1990, Some Friendly shot straight to Number 1 on the UK Album Charts, defining the Madchester and alternative rock era with its driving grooves, soaring Hammond organ hooks, and timeless songwriting. This deluxe 35th Anniversary edition has been completely remastered from the original tapes by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios. It marks the first time the expanded version of the album has ever been made available on vinyl. The first LP holds the definitive studio tracklist, including the classic top-10 anthem "The Only One I Know" and the hit single "Then". The second LP features a handpicked selection of rare 7" mixes, instrumentals, alternate takes, and B-sides specially chosen by Tim Burgess for this release.
