This vinyl record is a true collector's gem, featuring the iconic Charles Mingus and his Jazz Workshop on their first release. The album, titled "The Clown", was released in 1957 under the catalog number Atlantic 1260, and is a rare original pressing on black label in mono high fidelity. The record comes in a cardboard sleeve and is in very good (VG) condition. The music on this LP is a masterpiece of post bop style jazz, featuring Mingus' unique compositions and exceptional performances by the orchestra.
